Hailing from El Paso, Tx Anthony Pacheco is a student currently pursuing his Jazz Performance degree Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. He briefly attended University of Texas at El Paso(UTEP) and in the Fall 2021 transferred to TSU. While at UTEP, he had become a versatile Drummer/Percussionist involved with the Marching Band, Symphony Band, Jazz Band and Percussion Ensembles. He had been a part of the El Paso Youth Jazz Ensemble and played in The El Paso Eklectic Jazz Ensemble. He has also been involved in helping local El Paso middle and high school students with their Jazz Band Rhythm Sections as well as Percussion. Now at TSU, He is now performing with Texas State Jazz Ensemble and Combos. He frequently performs around with a variety of musicians and bands in the Central Texas Area from Jazz, Blues, Tejano, Musicals, Country, Funk, Latin, and Rock. He teaches private lessons to students of all ages as well as working as a full time Drum Instructor with RMT Music LLC. He has played with local and touring artists such as Geoff Gallante, Jon Blondell, Ruben Ramos And The Mexican Revolution, The Coasters, Chris Duarte Group, Sunny Ozuna, Chris Cuevas Project, Sam Barlow, Abe Mac Band and Billy Townes. He is now endorsed with Soultone Cymbals and performs with the band LA 45 as well as different groups around the Austin/San Antonio Area.
